Model Memory is an autobiographical exploration of the tenuous nature of memory and my own forgotten past. Through the creation of detailed miniature models, I aim to recreate spaces from my childhood homes entirely from memory. Each room represents a particular location and a particular period in my childhood, a childhood that is largely lost to me. Due to gaps in my personal memory some of these models are full of detail, while others are much sparser. My goal is to represent both what I can remember in each space as accurately as possible, as well as the foggy emptiness of what I can't remember.
